Day 245: Tuesday
I forgot to mention that Ace Hotel in NYC - where I stopped for Stumptown. I was in the midst of completing my color notebook and thought the columns in the lobby would be fun to mention.

The bottom 10' or so of each column is painted in glossy white instead of matte. Excellent way to bounce a bit more light down low and move the eye away from a less than stellar ceiling. Idea filed.
Day 246: Wednesday
Just keep working! Some screen shots from the model for the Quad studio project courtesy of the BatComputer.
Seriously. They look like something out of a Marvel comic. Must remember to change the settings to monochromatic before the next print to pdf.
Day 247: Thursday
Last computing class tomorrow. First attempt at architectural photo collage. Basic, very basic. But I managed to get a golden in there. The good thing is I'll get to practice this lovely skill over the next five days until the final studio presentation.
A big thank you to Sharon Montrose - that's her Owl picture in image one. Visit her website here. She takes absolutely stunning photos of animals.
